SEOUL, South Korea – Communicator Madang sound engineer Wonman Lee used an Allen & Heath GLD mixing system at FOH for a student production of Urinetown at Yonsei University. The production, staged in the university’s 830-seat 100th anniversary concert hall, made use of a GLD-80 digital mixer with an AR2412 and two AR0804 audio racks. “This type of musical performance requires many scene changes, so I needed a digital mixer that was capable of managing multiple scenes, available with immediate recall. I have been using GLD for more than 2 years, and it never fails, even when I use it at maximum capacity. Also, the system has wonderful remote control options, such as the iPad app and GLD Editor, which really help during shows”, commented sound engineer, Wonman Lee, from Communicator Madang.
Along with the main performance space, the venue also includes a practice room and a wide lobby, which can be used for various kinds of events as well.
