BRIGHTON and SUSSEX, U.K. — The organizers of the Shakedown Festival and the new Love Supreme Jazz Festival will be including Flare Audio Ltd in their gear lineup for 2013, according to Flare. Pictured here is the Space X5, Flare’s new touring line array system.

More details from Flare Audio (www.flareaudio.com):

The organizers of the Shakedown Festival and the new Love Supreme Jazz Festival have confirmed Flare Audio Ltd as their preferred sound supplier for 2013, dubbing Flare’s new products ‘the best speakers I’ve ever heard in a field’.

For the past two years Flare has provided the sound for Shakedown’s Supercharged Dance Stage, which has played host to artists including Zane Lowe, Chase and Status, Knife Party, The Freemasons and Kissy Sell Out.

Receiving fantastic feedback from artists and audience members alike, Flare’s innovative range of speaker systems impressed festival organizers so much they have asked Flare to provide the sound for the entire festival this year, as well as for their new Love Supreme Jazz Festival.

The festivals’ promoter Nick Beveridge commented: “Flare Audio will be providing both festivals with the best speakers I’ve ever heard in a field. With the introduction of Flare’s new Space technology to complement the superior bass clarity and control of Quadhorn, we’re confident that Shakedown and Love Supreme festivals will be delivering the latest and best sound available. I can’t speak highly enough of these ground-breaking speakers.”

Space is a revolutionary new technology launched by Flare that unlocks the potential of loudspeakers, delivering ‘pure sound’ to an audience.  By achieving Waveform integrity, Space technology effectively makes the loudspeaker enclosure sonically invisible; so what is heard is just the information supplied to the loudspeaker driver.

Flare’s new touring line array system Space X5 will be providing main stage audiences with pure sound that promises to provide ‘a new level of audience experience’, while Space X3 and S1 will be used for stage monitoring, side fills and on smaller stages.

Bass will be provided by a horizontal line array of Quadhorn Q18. Flare’s Quadhorn product line uses Nanoflow Technology, a patent pending technology again built around the concept of Waveform integrity, delivering highly controllable and accurate bass frequencies.

“Having worked with the organizers of Shakedown festival since the start, Flare is excited to have the opportunity to extend pure sound to the whole of this growing festival,” said Flare’s COO Kristin Hanson. “It is also particularly exciting for us to be the designated sound provider for a new festival like Love Supreme from its first year. The organizers understand the value of sound quality and how it can be controlled effectively to adhere to their license conditions without sacrificing the audience experience.”
