FRANKFURT, Germany — Peavey sponsored the Agora Stage’s performances by the Alex Skolnick Trio at Musikmesse 2012 here March 21-24. Peavey also supplied the audio system at the stage for the four-day event.
More details from Peavey (www.peavey.com):
Peavey’s commercial audio division outfitted the Agora Stage with a Peavey Versarray line array loudspeaker system, Peavey Impulse 12D front fills, Crest Audio mixing consoles at front-of-house and monitors and a Peavey MediaMatrix NION n6 digital networked audio system that allowed the sound engineers to configure and control the Agora Stage complex.
“Providing sound reinforcement for the Agora Stage allows us to show the extensive capabilities of the Peavey Commercial Audio suite of professional audio products to a global audience,” said Hartley Peavey, founder and CEO.
A team of Crest Audio Pro 9200 and Pro 7200 amplifiers powered the ribbon driver-loaded Peavey Versarray 212 line array and Versarray 218 subwoofers, with loudspeaker management from the Peavey MediaMatrix NION n6. Two Crest Audio CV-20 consoles with 56 channels controlled audio from the front-of-house position.
Peavey also provided the full monitor sound reinforcement system for the Agora stage. The monitor setup included two 48-channel Crest Audio CV-20 mixing consoles with Peavey CS Series and Crest Audio Pro 200 amplifiers, which powered the Peavey QW ML and MR monitor wedges and QW 1, QW 2 and Versarray 218 side fills and drum fills—all controlled by a Peavey Architectural Acoustics Digitool MX processor.
