MACAU – Macau Tower offers more than just a panoramic view of the city. Guests can plunge off the 764-foot-high Sky Jump as well – tethered, of course, for safety. One Systems' Hong Kong distributor, Sound Classy, equipped the attraction with One Systems' 112UM and 212Sub-W models.
The gear is installed on the tower's Level 61 Observation Deck surrounding the sky jump booth. The 112UM speakers are ceiling mounted with custom One Systems brackets and the 212Sub-Ws are fixed to the floor.
Sound Classy cited sound quality, intelligibility, price, compact size, direct weather design and mounting options as key One Systems selling points.
"These speakers really needed to have the power to cut through the ambient noises atop the tower in order to drive the emotion and energy the guests need before they take the jump," said Chris Fung of Sound Classy.
