ISTANBUL, Turkey – Lotus Teknoloji, K-array’s distributor in Turkey and Cyprus, recently installed a K-array solution in the Limonata Restaurant Bar & Lounge. Recently opened in Istanbul’s Akaretler district, the restaurant’s interior design is a mixture of old and new, furnishings from the 50’s and art-deco materials, luxury and taste … with a colorful Bohemian flair.

During our interview with Oktay Karasoglu, President and owner of Lotus Teknoloji, he was almost surprised when we asked why K-array’s loudspeaker systems are installed so often in Istanbul’s trendy clubs: ‘The owner of Limonata asked me for a quality system, capable of producing clear sound while maintaining good pressure… who else but K-array? Also, I really wanted to see the K-face of the owner! Oktay kidded making reference to the expression that first time listeners have when they come to realize the amazing relationship between size, weight, power and quality of the Italian brand. The audio design project required the system for background music in the restaurant and lounge and ‘a little’ more pressure later at night. Having carefully considered what speakers would best fulfill the client’s needs, Oktay installed a K-array loudspeaker system comprising 14 KK50 Kobras, for low frequencies, four KL12MA subwoofers, and two KA10-10 amplifiers. The installed system assures excellent coverage of the entire musical frequency range, yet is discreet and powerful at the same time, fitting in perfectly with the architectural design of the room. Everything installed, wired and set in just three days of work.
Now we just have to choose Istanbul as our next holiday destination, and add us to the great number of K-face.
