CHONGQING, China – With a total area of 36,000 square meters, the Guotai Arts Centre hosts a variety of productions including musicals, operas, drama, entertainment, exhibitions and commercial events. The center recently installed Allen & Heath’s iLive digital mixing system, the iLive-176 Surface and iDR10 MixRack as its new FOH console.

Sanecore Group installed all the audio systems, which cover the performance system, public addressing system, intercom system, recording and broadcasting system, as well as the stage lighting system.

Our previous mixer was an analog GL3800, and the analogue-style strip design on iLive made it an easy transition. The output group, AUX and MATRIX are as easy as those on a GL3800, and all with 1/3 octave GEQ. Operating iLive is so simple!” said the sound engineer of the arts centre, Chen Le.
