With this transition, Biamp aims to enhance its sales, support, and product distribution capabilities, ensuring better service for its Swedish partners and customers. This shift allows Biamp to more directly engage with the market, providing more streamlined communication, increased access to Biamp expertise, and a higher level of service across all verticals, including corporate, hospitality, education, large venues, and more.
“Sweden is a key market for Biamp, and we are excited to take this next step in delivering even better service and support,” said Michael Jarl Christensen, General Manager, Europe. “By transitioning to a direct-to-market model, we work more closely with our partners, providing them with the tools and expertise needed to drive success. This move ensures that Swedish customers benefit from a more seamless and efficient experience with Biamp solutions.”
Leading the expanded presence of Biamp in the region is Anki Wenke, the new Sales Director, Nordics. Wenke will play a crucial role in supporting customers as the company strengthens its position in Sweden and across the Nordic region.
“Anki Wenke brings a wealth of experience and deep knowledge of the Nordic AV market. Her leadership will be instrumental in helping us build stronger relationships and expand our reach in Sweden,” Christensen added.
Any changes to purchasing, support, and training processes have been communicated to existing customers from Biamp and the long-term partner Scandec, and the transition has been handled to ensure all customers are fully supported after this change.
“Scandec is still our valued distribution partner in Norway, and we want to thank them for their years of commitment to the Biamp brand in Sweden and look forward to the continued collaboration in their current market,” said Christensen.
