BERLIN, Germany — Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup is equipping the fully refurbished state opera house Unter den Linden in Berlin with audio and stage management technology including the company’s Aurus mixing console (pictured here) and Nexus audio network.

The AURUS mixing console and NEXUS audio network among other thing will be supplied for sound editing and routing. The opera house stage management technology will be PerformanceCeTRL stage management system, featuring three stage management desks, two of which are from the INSPIration series that had its debut earlier this year.
Audio technology for the building will be provided by the Berlin branch of Salzbrenner Stagetec Audio-, Video-, Mediensysteme GmbH in a joint venture with the media technology systems house Amptown System Company GmbH. In this joint venture, Amptown is responsible for video and sound reinforcement as well as project management. The renowned opera house is currently undergoing complete refurbishment and is expected to remain closed throughout 2015.
This is not the first time the Mediagroup has worked with the Berlin State Opera: In 2010, the Berlin Schillertheater, temporary home of the state opera, chose a NEXUS audio network and a STAGE 300 system for stage management.
