LONDON — The 2020 PLASA Show will not take place at Olympia London from 6-8 September this year due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 and uncertainty regarding social distancing and lockdown policies. However, the PLASA Show plans to return to Olympia London from Sept. 5-7, 2021.

PLASA’s Head of Events Sophie Atkinson comments: “It is of course very disappointing to have to postpone PLASA Show this year which would have been the first in Olympia’s Grand Hall. But that it is the right thing to do for the industry at this challenging time. We will sorely miss PLASA Show this year and look forward to being able to meet you in London Sept. 5-7, 2021.”

Behind the scenes, the PLASA association is working hard to support its members and the wider industry through government lobbying, research, and cross-industry collaboration. You can find out more at www.plasa.org/coronavirus. PLASA is open to feedback and would love to hear from you.

Since launching on 25 June, the #WeMakeEvents campaign has gained traction to help amplify the industry’s call for urgent government support. Get involved at www.plasa.org/we-make-events.

PLASA Managing Director Peter Heath comments: “We are all aware of how the events industry is suffering, and as it stands there is no end in sight. PLASA is focusing all its efforts into supporting the industry and we invite you to join the cause so we can all enjoy concerts, theatre shows and festivals long into the future. We hope that by the time PLASA Show 2021 comes around the industry will be restored back to full health and we can celebrate with a fantastic ‘come-back’ show, face to face. In the meantime, keep safe.
