GUANGZHOU, CHINA – VUE China and VUE Audiotechnik will host their largest exhibit to date at Prolight & Sound in Guangzhou, China. This year’s show will take place at the China Import & Export Fair Complex, with VUE booth in Hall 1.1. The 2-storey booth measures 90sq.m, and will present a series of “VUE Technology Experiences” with insights into the technologies behind VUE’s most distinguished products. The central focus will be on the much-awaited addition to the al-Class Line Array systems, with the reveal of the al-12 line array system, which extends the VUE al-Class to new large-scale applications and also emphasizes VUE’s CST technology.

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND – Set on a 30,000 sq. ft. industrial site in High Wycombe, Rush UK’s first Trampoline Park incorporates a series of jumping activities including wall-to-wall interconnected trampolines, climbing challenges, two dodge ball courts, two basketball hoop lanes, a gigantic foam pit and a ninja challenge course. Combined with children’s birthday party rooms, corporate events, teenage disco nights and fitness classes, all activities function under a roof supported by Martin Audio’s new CDD (Coaxial Differential Dispersion) premium installation loudspeakers.

MELBOURNE – Melbourne’s new $230 million City West police station in Docklands houses nearly 1,500 staff, united from multiple locations and divisions. The building is also the new home of the Forensic Audio Unit, who are tasked with analysis and enhancement of audio recordings to solve and prevent crimes. Ry Wilton, Audio Visual Commissioning Technician at Programmed Electrical Technology headed up the installation team and chose a pair of JBLs flagship M2 Master Reference monitors, powered by a Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD power amp.

COLOMBIA – Juan Carlos Coronel “The Latin Crooner,” was on the hunt for a new microphone to highlight his voice when he discovered DPA Microphones’ d: facto Vocal Microphone. The Colombian singer, songwriter and producer adopted the mic to help him bring to life a repertoire of classics by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett, reborn and performed in Spanish for his latest album, Lenguaje Universal/Universal Language.

MEXICO CITY – A massive, all-Meyer Sound system of more than 600 loudspeakers recently supplied coverage for a crowd of over 300,000 that converged near the Mexico City suburb of Ecatepec for an open-air Holy Mass with Pope Francis. Total Event Productions S.A. de C.V. supplied the systems for the event.

POHANG, SOUTH KOREA – Pohang City located in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, near Seoul is the main seaport of the province and home of Pohang First Presbyterian church founded in 1905. In preparation of 110th anniversary celebration in 2015, the 2500 seat church updated its sound system. AVIX, the Korean distributor for Portuguese manufacturer NEXT-proaudio, recently installed a NEXT-proaudio sound system within the church’s main sanctuary.
