Dante Audio Networking Gives Voice to Wisconsin Center

PORTLAND, OR – Metro Sound & Video, a Milwaukee-area systems design and integration firm, recently established a flexible, low-latency Dante digital audio network from Audinate for the Wisconsin Center. The main Expo Hall, comprised of four very large rooms with a giant concrete floor; a 37,500 three-space ballroom for formal events; and a series of smaller meeting rooms that can be combined for larger crowds as needed is now equipped with a fully operational digital audio network across the entire venue.

THOMASVILLE, GA – S&L Integrated, LLC, based out of Thomasville, Georgia, specified and installed a Powersoft Deva two-way messaging system to been integrated into three city blocks at the heart of downtown Thomasville, Georgia: a classic and historic ‘Downtown, USA’  location that required a comprehensive entertainment, information and messaging solution for its ‘Victorian Christmas’ event that took place in December.  20 Deva units in total were mounted discreetly in trees lining each side of Main Street, positioned approximately 20 yards apart from one another.

Outboard TiMax SoundHub Plays Key Role at New ‘Mamma Mia!’ Themed Restaurant in Sweden

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — At Stockholm’s Gröna Lund island theme park, a new restaurant, dubbed Mamma Mia! The Party, is serving up Greek food and ABBA hits overseen by former band member Björn Ulvaeus and his team. Lawo Names Global Sales Team as Company’s Organizational Changes Continue

RASTATT, Germany — Lawo, which announced in January that L-S-B Broadcast Technologies GmbH would be renamed Lawo and integrated within the Lawo company structure, announced additional organizational changes March 22. Jamie Dunn (pictured here) was named head of global sales. Dunn was also named head of sales in Europe, except for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Martin Blum will serve as head of sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). Erling Hedkvist will serve as head of sales in the Americas, and Gregor Erlitz was named head of sales in the Asia and Pacific region.
