Britrow, Leicester City Celebrate with Kasabian

LEICESTER, UK – Leicester City Football Club’s winning performance in the Premier League saw a fitting tribute from home town band Kasabian when they played the club’s own King Power Stadium May 28-29. But who can plan in advance for such a winning celebration? Kasabian’s sound engineer Paul Ramsay saw it all.  “I got the call just four weeks before the first stadium show. It was insane; a month of my life passed by in a flash filled with frantic phone calls.” Britannia Row came to the rescue.

BERKELEY, CA – French rock band Les Insus and Danish pop singer Christopher are diverse in their music, but aligned in their choosing of Meyer Sound’s Leo family systems for their European tours. Says Bob Coke, FOH engineer for Les Insus, “(Leo) has a very coherent and powerful signature in the lower frequencies, and a sweet high end. Jon Sword Gets a Feeling for Cadac CDC Six

LUTON, UK – The Feeling FOH engineer Jon Sword has had been touring the band with a Cadac CDC six console on the recent Jeff Lynne’s ELO arena support slot. The tour has seen both engineer and band fall in love with the compact Cadac. “I’ve been using the desk in 300 capacity venues and then on our arena shows with 14 mixes, either way it’s an absolute breeze,” says Sword. “I’ve had zero issues with the desk for the whole tour, and given that I’m walking into the arenas as a support engineer, it’s been great to know I’m in a reliably consistent situation.”

NASHVILLE – Morris uses its new d&b audiotechnik NoizCalc solution during the recent CMA Music Festival June 9-12.
