NIAGARA FALLS, NY – AV Solutions installed One Systems Direct Weather loudspeakers on Maid of the Mists boats to bring the sounds of the falls to the forefront of the viewing experience. Each Maid of the Mist tour includes four pre-recorded audio segments that provide visitors with background about the area and falls during the tour. The audio system is also used for public address/safety announcements from the captain. Sound clarity as well as ability to withstand water were some key reasons for the selection.

NEW YORK CITY — The AES has released the list of winning candidates in the 2016 Audio Engineering Society international elections. Among the newly-elected, David Scheirman takes on the role as the new President-Elect. He will first serve on the AES Board of Governors and Executive Committee as President-Elect, fully assuming the presidency in October 2017 for a one-year term.

DiGio S21 Console is Audio Hub at Mississippi State

STARKSVILLE, MS – Mississippi State’s new production facility and its two video control rooms will handle all of the school’s sports audio needs through a newly installed DiGiCo S21console. This includes broadcast sound for SEC Network shows, intercom audio for operations, foldback audio for on-air talent and live sound inside the venue.
