LENOIR, NC – The J.E. Broyhill Civic Center recently updated its sound system with Fulcrum Acoustic’s FL283 Dual 8-inch Subcardioid Line Array Module. Rear low frequency rejection was crucial for its loudspeakers to keep sound from radiating off the proscenium and from bleeding onto the stage. Also, high-output yet compact speakers were required to provide the requisite SPLs and low frequency output without interfering with the auditorium’s sightlines or aesthetics.

Beauty & Essex Opens at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas with K-array System

LAS VEGAS — Beauty & Essex, a joint project between TAO Group and chef/restaurateur Chris Santos that opened recently at the Cosmopolitan resort in Las Vegas, features a vintage ambiance and an entrance design that evokes a retail storefront for used goods. The speaker system provided by Anthem Productions, however, did not come from one of Las Vegas’ many pawn shops. Instead, the K-array system includes 10 KP102 Python loudspeakers, eight KK102 Kobra loudspeakers, 18 KMT12P 12” passive subwoofers and 19 KT2C Tornado ceiling-mounted point sources powered by six KA84 and one KA24 amplifiers.
