NEW YORK — Masque Sound is providing a custom audio equipment package for Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Paramour’ now running on Broadway. The biggest challenge faced – and solved – by the designers was the acoustics of the Lyric Theatre itself. The theatre has been beautifully renovated but had some acoustical hindrances. To take on the project, a new working group is being created within ESTA’s Technical Standards Program (TSP) called the Event Safety Working Group (ESWG).
