Coda Airay Takes Center Stage in Swiss Festivals

LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND – CODA Audio’s AiRAY system was a hit at a number of festivals in Switzerland this summer. CODA distributor and event technology service provider, Schallwerk, gave the system its Swiss debut in June at the B-Sides Festival, a popular alternative event in Lucerne. The following month AiRAY took its place on the Waldbuhne stage at the larger Gurten Festival, situated on a picturesque hillside outside Berne.

2016 World Youth Day in Poland Draws More than 2.5 Million; Gigant Sound Provides Outline System

KRAKOW, Poland — Poland-based Gigant Sound Letus took on a gigantic challenge this past summer: providing audio for the 2016 World Youth Day event. Organized by the Catholic Church and led by Pope Francis, the event drew more than 2.5 million to Krakow. While the event’s budget constraints posed a challenge, Gigant owner Jurek Taborowski figured the 66 towers of Outline arrays were able to do the work of “140 towers equipped with other manufacturers’ products.”

ATK Deploys EAW for ESPY Awards

LOS ANGELES — ATK Audiotek Corp. recently provided an Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) Adaptive sound reinforcement system for ESPN’s 24th Annual ESPY Awards, held at the Microsoft Theater (formerly the Nokia Theater L.A. Live), in Los Angeles. 

Valencia, CA-based ATK Audiotek has provided sound reinforcement systems and support for the ESPY awards since the athletic award show debuted in 1993. This was their first time out with the Anna system.
