Goo Goo Dolls’ 2017 U.S. Tour Heard via Sound Image-Supplied JBL VTX System

LOS ANGELES – Sound Image deployed a complete JBL by Harman VTX Series audio system for rock band Goo Goo Doll’s U.S. amphitheater tour. Titled “Long Way Home,” the 2017 trek ran from mid-July to mid-September, and the veteran rock band was accompanied by Phillip Phillips. The shows were performed at medium-to-large-sized amphitheaters. According to the band’s veteran FOH engineer Jon B. Schimke, the VTX V25-II system provided consistent, high-quality performance throughout the tour.

Brad Paisley’s “Weekend Warrior” Tour Hits the Road with Harman Professional Solutions

ST. LOUIS, MO – Sound Image supplied a JBL VTX Series audio system for Brad Paisley’s 35-show Weekend Warrior amphitheater tour. The tour, which started May and ran through September, covered amphitheaters from coast to coast and included a quick jaunt to Sweden and Norway for three shows in July. Kevin Freeman, Paisley’s FOH engineer for the last 18 years, has been using JBL gear for a long time and was an early adopter of the VTX V25 system.

Parnelli Ballot Finalized, Voting Begins!

LAS VEGAS – This year’s Parnelli Ballot has been finalized, and voting has begun! The ballot, which includes the six North American finalists for the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year (chosen during a separate round of voting in September) is posted online at parnelliawards.com, and it’s up to YOU, the FRONT of HOUSE reader, to decide who among the nominees will step up to the awards podium at the Anaheim Hilton in Anaheim, CA on the evening of Jan. 26, 2018.
