RIVERTON, KS – Riverton High School recently completed a new gymnasium fitted with a new audio system. The school district hired Joplin-based A/V integration firm Total Electronics Contracting (TEC) to design and install a high-impact sound reinforcement system for the new gymnasium. Audiotonix Group Acquires Solid State Logic

CHESSINGTON, U.K. — Audiotonix announced the acquisition of Solid State Logic (SSL) as part of its expanding Group that already includes leading audio brands DiGiCo, DiGiGrid, Calrec and Allen & Heath. The deal was concluded Dec. 20, bringing together some of the world’s leading console manufacturing companies. Peter Gabriel, the majority shareholder in Solid State Logic, also becomes an investor in Audiotonix as part of the transaction.

Yamaha PM10 Tours with Pentatonix

NEW YORK – A cappella group Pentatonix has been taking the show on the road from Washington DC to Boston to celebrate their new CD, A Pentatonix Christmas. Mark Woodcock, FOH engineer, has been using a Yamaha Rivage PM10 to optimize the mix for the holiday tour, with support from Clair Global. Acknowledging that there are not a lot of inputs on the Pentatonix show, Woodcock said he opted for the PM10 for its combination of ease-of-use and the “warm and smooth” quality of its pre amps.
