LOS ANGELES – Special Event Services used part of their Outline inventory to design the audio system for the newly-refurbished LA Forum.

YUCCA VALLEY, CA – Patrick “Hutch” Hutchison, renowned FOH for bands including Jack White, Them Crooked Vultures and Eagles of Death Metal, recently opened La Grange music venue in Yucca Valley, CA.

LAS VEGAS – You could wait until New Year’s to resolve to book your seat or table for the 17th annual Parnelli Awards. But then again, maybe you shouldn’t wait that long. When it comes to the Parnelli Awards, attendees, it seems, have already resolved to not procrastinate. The ceremony is on Jan. 26, 2018 – exactly one month away from the date of this news posting and newsletter – and most of the available tickets have already been sold.

LAS VEGAS – Latin music standouts Jaime Camil and Roselyn Sanchez hosted the 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards held at the Grand Garden Arena at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Nov. 16, 2017. The event, which was broadcast live on the Univision Network, utilized Radio Active Designs (RAD) UV-1G wireless intercoms to facilitate communications. Professional Wireless Systems (PWS) provided 50 RAD packs and eight UV-1G Base Stations for the event. They were managed by RF tech Gary Trenda (pictured here, far right). RF tech Jason Lambert (center) responsible for system integration between both inside and outside of the venue, while Jordan Smith (far left) managed distribution of all the wireless intercom and related equipment throughout the event.

LAFAYETTE, IN – When First Assembly Community Ministries officially rebranded itself as River City Church earlier this year, the name change was accompanied by several other updates, including the segue to a more contemporary, production-oriented worship style. As part of that transition, River City Church’s sanctuary required a more modern sound system – a need that CCI Solutions was nicely able to fill with a new L-Acoustics ARCS WiFo (ARCS Wide and ARCS Focus) system.

ANAHEIM, CA – Adamson Systems Engineering, a first-time exhibitor at the 2018 NAMM Show, won’t just be dipping its toe in the water. The company plans on making some big waves at the event, which runs from Jan. 25-28 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. Along with Adamson’s S-Series of compact tour-grade loudspeakers, including the S10 two-way, full-range line array cabinet and complementary S119 subwoofer, on display at booth (#17305), Adamson will lead a training session as part of the inaugural AES@NAMM educational program.
