Block of Hotel Rooms Set Aside for Parnelli Awards Ceremony Attendees

ANAHEIM, CA – The Parnelli Awards has partnered with NAMM to offer a block of rooms for those attending the Parnelli Awards on Friday, Jan. 25 and NAMM Live and FOH/PLSN Pro Production seminars set for Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 24-26. The accommodations are at the Hyatt Regency Orange County resort hotel, located minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Hall and the Parnelli Awards Show at the Anaheim Hilton.

The new equipment, including dozens of channels of Venue2 receivers, SSM micro bodypack transmitters, 24 LT bodypack transmitters, 32 HHa handheld transmitters and 14 channels of Duet IEM systems, has been integrated into four locations at CHCC’s South Denver campus.

Imogen Heap Tours with Soundscape

REYKJAVIC, Iceland – d&b audiotechnik has partnered with German pop artist Imogen Heap on her first tour in eight years, providing her with a Soundscape system. Like the sound system, which Heap describes as “sound like we’ve never heard it before,” Heap’s Mycelia tour is described as “a new model for touring,” a 40-city trek that includes “concerts, talks, workshops and exhibitions.”

LD Systems Deploys L-Acoustics for Two Stages at Lollapalooza in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL – LD Systems provided L-Acoustics systems for the Grant Park Stage and Bud Light Stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago Aug. 2-5, supporting performances by Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Jack White and more. For the Grant Park Stage, the setup included L-R hangs of six K1-SB over 14 K1 over four K2, with eight K1-SB flown directly behind each of the two main arrays, plus side hangs, fills and delays. For the Bud Light stage, the main system included L-R hangs of four K1-SB over 14 K1 over four K2, also paired with eight K1-SB behind each of the two main arrays plus side hangs, fills and delays.
