Harman Debuts HiQnet System Architect Version 3.0 with Audio Video Bridging (AVB) Capabilities

ORLANDO – Harman Professional’s HiQnet System Architect Version 3.0 system configuration software, the first version of System Architect to provide Audio Video Bridging (AVB) capabilities, debuted at InfoComm 2011. Version 3.0 offers AVB networked audio routing support, along with a host of additional functionality including support for the dbx SC 32 and SC 64 Digital Matrix Processors and the BSS Audio/NETGEAR GS724T 24-Port Ethernet AVB Switch, the world’s first true networkable AVB devices.

CAD Remote Control Variable Pattern Mics Now Available Across Multiple DSP Platforms

CAD Audio announced that its Remote Control Variable Pattern products are now compatible with Biamp Audia and Nexia, Symetrix Symnet, and AtteroTech Control Center Software. They can be set up using the respective software modules located within the DSP design software. This control block can be adjusted on the fly, built into system presets or accessed from a remote location via IP. These Custom Variable Pattern Control Blocks are included with mic models including the 2220VP, 2600VP, 2700VP and 2800VP, pictured here.

Auction to Raise Funds for Joplin, MO Tornado Victims

LONDON and JOPLIN, MO – Orange Amplifiers is working with fellow musicians and others in the music industry to donate gear and memorabilia for "Music Aid for Joplin," an auction fundraiser accepting bids from July 18-Aug. 24 on FameBureau.com.
