iLive And ME-1 Manage Tindersticks Anniversary Show

CORNWALL, UK – An Allen & Heath iLive system with 18 ME-1 personal mixers were employed for a special 21st anniversary show of UK band, Tindersticks.  Part of a European summer tour, the band performed a special set at the Blue Balls Festival in Lucern, Switzerland, where a 17 piece string section played alongside the regular six piece band.

Drug-Linked Deaths Cancel EDM Show in Boston and E-Zoo Festival’s Third Day in NYC

BOSTON and NEW YORK — Separate drug-related incidents claimed the lives of three EDM revelers in late August, with one death canceling an EDM concert in Boston on Aug. 28 and two more deaths leading to the cancellation of the final day’s performances for the three-day Electric Zoo Music Festival set for Randall’s Island Park in NYC over Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30-Sept. 1. Event Safety Alliance Granted 501(c)(6) Nonprofit Status

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The Event Safety Alliance announced that it has been officially granted 501(c)(6) status by the Internal Revenue Service.  This designation establishes the ESA as tax-exempt entity, and marks a milestone in establishing the Event Safety Alliance as the preeminent event safety organization in the U.S.

INDIANAPOLIS — Mid-America Sound provided an L-Acoustics K1 system for Hillsong United’s “WelcomeZion” U.S. summer arena tour. TOLEDO, OH – The Hollywood Casino here hosted their Spotlight Summer Nights series of concerts for the first time this year in an open-air venue on the banks of the Ohio River. Parks Audio Systems proposed a system from RCF loudspeakers to cover the outdoor grounds. Their choice – an RCF TT Series line array coupled with dB Technologies subwoofers. Headliners for the series included Air Supply, Leann Rimes, Wynonna, Chevelle, Ronnie Dunn and Travis Tritt.
