UNCASVILLE, CT – The Avalon Mohegan Sun, a 10,000 square foot nightclub that featured DJs Jermaine Dupri, Irie and Havana Brown during its opening weekend Nov. 23 and 24, is drawing crowds with EAW Avalon Club.two and Sub.two speakers along with high-impact lighting and video systems. Club owner Patrick Lyons launched the original Avalon nightclub in Boston 25 years ago with his brother John. John Lyons played a key role in the development of EAW’s Avalon speaker line.

Turbosound Announces Relocation

SUSSEX, UK – Iconic speaker brand Turbosound, headquartered at Partridge Green in Sussex, announced today it is relocating to new premises. The trigger for the move was the imminent expiry of the lease on their existing headquarters. As a result of this decision, Turbosound’s manufacturing will move to premises owned by MUSIC Group in Kidderminster, which serves as MIDAS and KLARK TEKNIK’s UK manufacturing facility and MUSIC Group’s European Care Centre.

Jon Perdue and his crew hung 16 OmniLine modules and an AQ210 sub in the Barrus Auditorium and two discrete eight-module OmniLine arrays and two AQ210 subs in the Taylor Chapel to provide the higher quality audio that they were looking for.
