AudionX Adds RCF, DB Technologies Gear to Rental Inventory

SWANTON, VT — AudionX, based here, added RCF HDL20-A line arrays to their rental inventory. Separately, the company also added dBTechnologies’ DVA S30N subwoofer.  Founded by technician Chris LaRocque, AudionX has provided production for numerous shows since 2009, from local concerts such as Rock-4-Rescues, UnderCover Music Festival and the Annual “O” Show to large scale festivals and fairs like Mountain Jam Festival and the Florida Strawberry Festival.

NEW YORK, NY – The brick and brownstone building that is home to New York’s Seventh Day Adventist Church has stood on this tree-lined street in Greenwich Village since 1882. Like many of the era’s grand old churches, the acoustics can be magnificent for organ and choir, but the sermons were battling the architecture’s myriad reflective surfaces. To get the combat the reflective surfaces a pair of Renkus-Heinz IC24-R-II digitally steerable column arrays were mounted left and right of the stage to cover the whole room.

INGLEWOOD, CA – The L.A. Forum, also known simply as The Forum, is reopening in a big way Jan. 15 after a $100 million remodeling project – with the kickoff show for the “History of the Eagles” tour, capped off with the world’s biggest record rotating on the roof.  Along with hundreds of concerts, the storied venue has hosted NBA championships, Summer Olympics basketball and numerous movie shoots. It was acquired by the Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) in 2012, bringing the venue full circle in a way – it was designed by architect Charles Luckman, who also did Madison Square Garden.
