Rat Sound Supports Rose Parade’s Audio Needs with Shure Gear
PASADENA, CA — The 125th Rose Parade on Jan. 1 featured floral floats, marching bands, and equestrian units along a 5.5 mile route here. Once known as a quaint, horse-drawn parade, the Tournament of Roses draws 700,000 spectators and is seen by millions of television viewers across 200 countries. CHICAGO — Shortly after DJ Datsik took the stage at Concord Music Hall here at about 2 a.m. on Feb. 8, small amounts of ceiling debris appeared to shake loose. Moments later, large chunks of debris fell, hitting at least four in the audience. One of the injured declined medical treatment. Three others were transported to nearby hospitals — two with minor injuries and one whose injuries appeared to be more serious, according to local reports.
