WICHITA, KS — Along with a new Daktronics center-hung video board, Wichita State University’s 10,500-seat Charles Koch Arena, home of the Shockers basketball and volleyball teams, installed 24 Danley Sound Labs Synergy Horn loudspeakers and four Tapped Horn subwoofers. The new gear is configured in eight clusters that encircle the top ring of the new center-hung video board. Each cluster includes a SH-96, SH-64, and SM-80, with the four TH-118 subwoofers providing low end support.

FRANKFURT, Germany — CADAC named Rob Hughes U.K. Sales Manager at Prolight+Sound. The company also noted that it is establishing its own U.K. distribution with a select dealer network. Hughes, who joins CADAC from Midas Klark Teknik, will oversee the U.K. operation and will be working out of a new CADAC marketing and demo facility in Stourport, Worcestershire.

SINGAPORE — Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) recently played host to a congregation of Asia-Pacific sound reinforcement professionals to launch its Anya system to the region. About 200 EAW distributors, FOH engineers, pro audio consultants and rental house representatives from China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Australia met in Singapore to experience Anya first-hand.
