New York’s Sao Restaurant Equipped with VUE i-Class Speakers

NEW YORK — Sao, a new Brazil-themed restaurant in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood, has been equipped with a new loudspeaker system from VUE Audiotechnik. Restaurant and club designer Kenny Fiesta was involved in the project, and after comparing different solutions, Fiesta opted for a system that includes six VUE i-6 powered two-way systems for the venue.

LAS VEGAS — A recent upgrade to the sound system at the Moorea Beach Club at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino includes 22 QSC AcousticDesign AD-S282H surface mount, full range loudspeakers. AVDB Group’s Matthew Paupst worked with Mike Cromer of QSC’s regional rep firm Audio Geer on the project. The Mandalay Bay is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International.

HOUSTON — South Main Baptist Church (SMBC) here recently upgraded with two of Harman’s Soundcraft Si Performer 3 consoles, sold through Hairel Sound Enterprises. The setup, with design and installation by Douglas Robertson, owner of Citizen Doug Productions, also a Compact Stagebox with MADI and Dante cards to connect the mixers and provide multi-track recording support.
