Sensaphonics Trains Five New Gold Circle Audiologists

EAW Adds Four to Customer Support Team

WHITINSVILLE, MA — Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) has hired Gino Pellicano, Peter Maguire and Dave Salmon (pictured here, L-R) along with Jonas Domkus (inset) to bolster the company’s customer support infrastructure.  Pellicano and Salmon join the EAW Application Support Group (ASG) as Application Support Specialist and Application Support Coordinator respectively. Maguire has been named Customer Support Manager while Domkus takes on the role of US Field Application Engineer.

TOLEDO, OH — For the second annual Spotlight Summer Nights concert series at the open-air amphitheater at the Hollywood Casino here, Great Lakes Sound, Inc. provided RCF line arrays with dB Technologies subwoofers and monitors. The venue, in close proximity to both the Ohio River and an interstate highway, is supporting shows featuring Smokey Robinson, .38 Special, Night Ranger, Travis Tritt, Wilson Phillips, George Thorogood, Pat Benatar, Everclear, Soul Asylum, Chevelle and Robby Krieger’s Jam Kitchen.

Three World Cup Soccer Venues Equipped with Community Professional Gear

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The 2014 FIFA World Cup, set for June 12 to July 13, is showcasing the world’s best soccer players at 12 major venues around the country — including seven new and five renovated stadiums. Soundvision Engineering designed and installed the system at Estádio Mineirão Stadium in Belo Horizonte, capital of Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, and played a role at two other stadia as well — Arena de Sao Paulo (in Sao Paulo) and Arena Amazonia (in Manaus, capital of another Brazilian state, Amazonas). For all three venues, Soundvision chose Community Professional loudspeaker systems.
