PITTSBURGH – Northern Sound & Light (NSL) has added Gordon Mann to its sales staff. Mann holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in sound recording and multimedia management from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and has studio, staging and musical performance experience and has also worked at NSL as an order filler and product inspector.

BUENA PARK, CA – Hosa Technology promoted Jose Gonzalez to product manager for the Hosa and Zaolla Silverline brands. Gonzalez will be stationed at the company's headquarters in Buena Park.

MARCOUSSIS, France – L-Acoustics added two new staff members to its technical support team: David Yates and Germain Simon.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Proel named Signal Audio, a company founded by audio veterans Klaus Hansen and Kasper Geels, as its exclusive distributor in Denmark. Signal Audio has opened a showroom in Copenhagen, where a variety of Proel products are on display.

OXNARD, CA – L-Acoustics named Scott Sugden to the newly-created post of head of U.S. touring support. Sugden reports to Florent Bernard, L-Acoustics head of touring support.

WEBSTER, NY – Ashly Audio named Todd K. Smith western regional sales manager. Based in Colorado and reporting to John Sexton, national sales manager, Smith will oversee and expand markets west of the Mississippi for Ashly Audio. Smith comes to Ashly with over 15 years experience in the pro audio industry.

GAINESVILLE, GA – Danley Sound Labs has named Doug Jones as technical consultant, a part-time position. Jones recently stepped down as Chairman of the Department of Audio Arts and Acoustics at Columbia College Chicago in order to spend more time consulting, but will continue as a professor at Columbia. His new venture with Danley Sound Labs complements his teaching responsibilities.

SCHWABISCH-HALL, Germany – Sixpac, with their main office just east of Heilbronn, has been named as the distributor for Proel audio products and accessories in Germany.

NORTHRIDGE, CA – JBL Professional named Ralph Quintero vice president of sales. Quintero rejoins JBL Professional after more than six years with Global Sales Management, an audio systems consultancy Quintero founded.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – Keith R. Klawitter, founder of KRK Systems Inc., has announced a new venture, KK labs, for live professional markets as well as recording studios.

NORTHRIDGE, CA – JBL Professional named Richard Ruse director of marketing for portable PA. Ruse has been with JBL Professional for more than a year as the company's U.S. Western regional sales director.
