LAS VEGAS – Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro) named Doug Simpson to head a new sales initiative geared toward providing the Las Vegas hotel/hospitality market with access to all of GC Pro's services. GC Pro Director Rick Plushner made the announcement.

KIDDERMINSTER, U.K. – Karl Chapman has joined Midas Klark Teknik in the newly-created role of sales manager, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). The move continues the manufacturer's ongoing efforts to provide dedicated sales support across all global territories.

SOLON, OH – CAD Audio has named Glenn Roop executive director, Business Development. In this new capacity, Roop will be responsible for developing new products, marketing and sales promotions to expand the scope of existing markets for CAD Audio.

ALAMEDA, CA – Clear-Com named of Bob Boster vice president of worldwide sales. Boster, who joined Clear-Com as a regional sales manager in 2006 and was named director of sales for Americas and Asia-Pacific in 2008, will now oversee the sales activities for all of Clear-Com, both domestic and international, while further developing the company's relationships with its customers and channel partners.

NILES, IL – Shure Inc. promoted two of its vice presidents to senior vice president. Ron Thompson, vice president of operations, was promoted to senior vice president of operations and COO. Avi Vaidya, vice president of product development and CTO, has been promoted to senior vice president of product development and CTO.

WILLICH, Germany – The Music Group named Patricia Tan Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the global human resources operations for The MUSIC Group, which is the holding entity for Behringer, Bugera, Midas and Klark Teknik.

SUN VALLEY, CA – Rick McClendon, whose company, Pro Sales Management, counted upon Aphex Systems as a valued client, will be looking after the interests of the brand on more of a full-time basis – he has now been named general manager for the company.

COSTA MESA, CA – QSC announced that Joe Pham has been promoted to CEO of QSC Audio Products, LLC. Pham joined QSC in 2004 and was promoted to COO in 2007.
