VEJLE, Denmark – Nordic Rentals of Denmark has become an L-Acoustics K1/KUDO/KARA Rental Network Agent. The company recently purchased 48 K1, 36 KUDO and 36 KARA WST line source cabinets, with 24 K1-SB, 40 SB28 and 12 SB18 subwoofers. The system, supplied by L-Acoustics' Danish distributor, Moto Audio Sales, includes LA8 amplified controllers in LA-RAKs with LA-AES3 cards.

BURNSVILLE, MN – Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Communications Systems Division announced that Phillip Scobee has joined Electro-Voice as product manager, Electro-Voice Concert Sound. Scobee, known for his work with such artists as Kenny Chesney and Sugarland, brings his experience as an end-user to his new position, where he will be responsible for both new and existing Electro-Voice concert product lines.

GAINESVILLE, GA – Danley Sound Labs named Chad Edwardson to its engineering and system design staff. He will assist clients with product selection and application details and will work with the Danley R&D team on new product development.

LONDON – Penn Elcom and Fane Acoustics – both of whom have manufacturing facilities in the U.K. and Asia – announced a global partnership where each will have access to the other's international distribution networks. The agreement is expected to increase the global availability of both companies' products, including loudspeaker components and casing hardware. Both companies have served their respective markets for more than 30 years.

WHITINSVILLE, MA – EAW expanded its Application Support Group (ASG) and named industry veteran Jerrold Stevens as ASG director, effective mid-May, 2011. Stevens, who will work closely with EAW's Strategic Engineering and Manufacturing Group, will serve as technical liaison between EAW's customers, sales force and R&D team.

FRANKFURT, Germany – The Stanton Group named Steve Van Laere, who has been with the company since 2003, senior director of worldwide sales for all Stanton Group brands, Stanton Magnetics, KRK and Cerwin-Vega. In his new role, Van Laere adds responsibility for the Latin America/Canada and Asia Pacific regions to his previous role as managing director of EMEA.

SUN VALLEY, CA – Aphex named pro-audio veteran Jace Nuzback product specialist. Nuzback’s experience includes product development and support for pro audio companies including Tascam, Line 6 and Avid's M-Audio division, along with experience in multitrack recording and guitar-oriented products. In his new position, Nuzback will work directly with product development manager Jim Bailey.

SURREY, U.K. – DiGiCo named Ian Staddon vice president of sales. Staddon joins DiGiCo after a lengthy tenure with the Harman Group, initially working for Soundcraft, and more recently as VP Sales for Studer.

MUNDELEIN, IL – Clark Wire & Cable named Chris Sabold to the position of Eastern Regional Sales. He has more than 30 years of experience working as senior recording engineer and technical engineer at Filmworkers, Paragon Recording Studios and CRC (Chicago Recording Co.). For the past three years, Sabold held the position of eastern regional inside sales at Gepco International Inc., where he was responsible for technical sales and account management.
