Aphex Adds Charles Boehm to Engineering Team

SUN VALLEY, CA – Aphex added pro audio veteran Charles Boehm to its engineering staff. Boehm joins Aphex after many years as hardware design engineer for Avid Technology's M-Audio division, where he was responsible for heading up design teams behind such products as their Prokeys88 and DCP-200 digital pianos, GSR studio monitors and Midisport USB MIDI interfaces.

Nordic Rentals Becomes K1/KUDO/KARA Agent

VEJLE, Denmark – Nordic Rentals of Denmark has become an L-Acoustics K1/KUDO/KARA Rental Network Agent. The company recently purchased 48 K1, 36 KUDO and 36 KARA WST line source cabinets, with 24 K1-SB, 40 SB28 and 12 SB18 subwoofers. The system, supplied by L-Acoustics' Danish distributor, Moto Audio Sales, includes LA8 amplified controllers in LA-RAKs with LA-AES3 cards.

Penn Elcom, Fane Announce Global Partnership

LONDON – Penn Elcom and Fane Acoustics – both of whom have manufacturing facilities in the U.K. and Asia – announced a global partnership where each will have access to the other's international distribution networks.
