LONGMONT, CO – DPA Microphones CEO and shareholder Christian Poulsen has assumed day-to-day management of DPA Inc, the Danish manufacturer's US subsidiary. Bruce and Joan Myers, former president and vice president, respectively, have left the company.

LUTON, U.K. – Cadac Holdings Ltd named Vincenzo Borrelli to the newly-created position of sales development manager. Borrelli has previously worked for companies including Harman, Mackie, Sound Technology and, most recently, Stage Electrics.

OLD LYME, CT – Sennheiser named Peter Claussen president of its Installed Sound division, effective Aug. 1. Claussen, 47, joins Sennheiser from the IT company Höft & Wessel AG, where he served as deputy chairman of the management board. He will assume responsibilities previously handled by Dr. Heinrich Esser, and will also serve as a member of Sennheiser's executive management board.

LAS VEGAS – John Murray, a longtime audio professional who has worked in every facet of the live event industry, has joined FRONT of HOUSE magazine as Technical Editor. Most recently, Murray was Technical Editor of Live Sound for 10 years. He joins a new team that includes Mark Frink, editor, and Mark Herman, consulting editor.

DUBAI, UAE – Meyer Sound has announced the incorporation of Meyer Sound Middle East, based in Dubai Media City. Serving the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and North Africa, the new office will put customers in closer reach to Meyer Sound’s offerings that include technical support, design services, and education, in addition to its high-performance loudspeakers, active acoustic technology, and system integration tools.

LAS VEGAS – Timeless Communications, Corp. owners of ProAudioSpace.com, FRONT of HOUSE magazine, the Event Production Directory and producers of the Parnelli Awards is pleased to announce as of April 25, longtime audio practitioner, touring monitor mixer and live sound engineer Mark Frink will take the helm as editor of FRONT of HOUSE and chief moderator on the ProAudioSpace.com website.

SUN VALLEY, CA – Aphex added pro audio veteran Charles Boehm to its engineering staff. Boehm joins Aphex after many years as hardware design engineer for Avid Technology's M-Audio division, where he was responsible for heading up design teams behind such products as their Prokeys88 and DCP-200 digital pianos, GSR studio monitors and Midisport USB MIDI interfaces.

VEJLE, Denmark – Nordic Rentals of Denmark has become an L-Acoustics K1/KUDO/KARA Rental Network Agent. The company recently purchased 48 K1, 36 KUDO and 36 KARA WST line source cabinets, with 24 K1-SB, 40 SB28 and 12 SB18 subwoofers. The system, supplied by L-Acoustics' Danish distributor, Moto Audio Sales, includes LA8 amplified controllers in LA-RAKs with LA-AES3 cards.

BURNSVILLE, MN – Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Communications Systems Division announced that Phillip Scobee has joined Electro-Voice as product manager, Electro-Voice Concert Sound. Scobee, known for his work with such artists as Kenny Chesney and Sugarland, brings his experience as an end-user to his new position, where he will be responsible for both new and existing Electro-Voice concert product lines.

GAINESVILLE, GA – Danley Sound Labs named Chad Edwardson to its engineering and system design staff. He will assist clients with product selection and application details and will work with the Danley R&D team on new product development.

LONDON – Penn Elcom and Fane Acoustics – both of whom have manufacturing facilities in the U.K. and Asia – announced a global partnership where each will have access to the other's international distribution networks. The agreement is expected to increase the global availability of both companies' products, including loudspeaker components and casing hardware. Both companies have served their respective markets for more than 30 years.
