ALAMEDA, CA — Clear-Com, an HME company, named Bob Boster president. Boster, previously vice president of worldwide sales, succeeds Matt Danilowicz who stepped down as president Dec. 31, 2011.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Neutrik USA named Ray Puzerewski regional manager. Puzerewski, who previously owned his own manufacturer’s rep firm (The MESA Group) for 29 years and, for the last 10 years, was the vice president of distribution for Brainard Nielsen Marketing, has represented Neutrik USA products for a total 24 years.

BERKELEY, CA – Meyer Sound’s Mac Johnson and Ana Lorente have moved from previous positions with the company to its Constellation division. Johnson, who has worked on Meyer Sound’s education program since 2007, remains in Berkeley, CA. Lorente, who also has extensive experience with Constellation systems via Meyer Sound Spain, will be based in Valencia, Spain.

POMPTON PLAINS, NJ — B&C Speakers named Bennett Prescott U.S. sales manager. Prescott has experience as a system measurement and alignment technician, audio mixer, trade show organizer, product specialist, and writer for industry trade magazines. He has also served as sales representative for a small European manufacturer and has been active on web forums as a poster and a moderator.

ANDOVER, MA – Fishman has added four new hires to its engineering and product development team and will be introducing new technologies and product lines at Winter NAMM 2012. The new hires, pictured here from left to right and top to bottom, include Andy Lewis, senior manager – new business and product development; Tom Hagerty, senior mechanical design engineer; Joe Kozdra, test development engineer; and Nick Servidio, junior audio engineer.

SALT LAKE CITY — JBL Professional named Richard Ruse, an audio industry veteran, as senior director of global sales. He reports to JBL Professional VP/GM Mark Ureda. Ruse has served JBL as director of marketing, Portable PA and, prior to that, as director of sales, Western Region. Prior to JBL, Ruse held management positions with companies including Alesis, Line 6, KRK and SWR, and also owned a sales and marketing consultancy.

CHESTER, PA — Community Professional Loudspeakers recently promoted Steve Goodwin, Julie Henn and LizAnne McConlogue within its Sales and Marketing division. Goodwin, pictured here, was named Latin America sales manager. In addition to his current responsibilities as marketing services manager, Goodwin will now handle all sales for Central and South America and the Caribbean.

NEW YORK — Bob Moses, longtime AES member and officer, accomplished product designer, technologist and pro audio industry advocate, has been named executive director of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), effective Jan. 1, 2012. AES president Jan Abildgaard Pedersen made the announcement Dec. 20.

POTTERS BAR, UK — Harman named production and operations veteran Harry McGee to its Mixer, Microphones and Headphones business unit for Soundcraft, Studer and AKG-branded gear.

FORT WAYNE, IN — Sweetwater, the third largest music instrument and pro audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 10 new Sales Engineers, with nine of them coming to Fort Wayne from outside Indiana. The new hires bring total Sweetwater employment to more than 500.
