BANGALORE, India — Harman Professional promoted David McKinney to senior director, operations – India.  McKinney, an 11-year company veteran, established Harman’s Asia regional sales office in Kuala Lumpur.  Filling in for McKinney in Malaysia is Thomas Marcher, the newly-appointed director of sales for Harman’s sales office there.

LOVELAND, CO — Ultimate Support, a manufacturer of stands for the music industry, named Steffenee Copley, pictured left, international sales manager and Linnea Hallmark, pictured right, western accounts manager.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Harman Professional promoted Thomas Marcher to director of sales of its Asia regional sales office.  Marcher, a four-year Harman Professional veteran with extensive pro AV experience with other brands in the region, is responsible for sales, support and channel coordination reporting to Scott Robbins, Harman’s senior director, global sales.

BREA, CA — Altinex named Philadelphia-based Almo Professional A/V distributor of its computer video interfaces, distribution amplifiers, switchers, matrix switchers, software, and furniture connectivity products.

FORT WAYNE, IN — Sweetwater recently hired two new senior category managers for its recently-reorganized Merchandising department: Jon Croft, senior category manager for Guitars and Drums, and Matt Duncan, senior category manager for Amps, Pedals and Effects.

BERKELEY, CA — Meyer Sound has announced promotions for two of its Design Services team members. Todd Meier (pictured here), formerly director of Design Services, has been promoted to Digital Products Manager, a new position. Michael Creason, who had served as a Design Services Associate since 2008, is taking over duties for Meier as Design Services Manager.

LISBON, Portugal — Meyer Sound has announced Miguel Lourtie as the new European Technical Services Manager. In his new position, Lourtie will supervise the company’s technical support team in Europe and assume primary responsibility for sales support and design services in the region.
