MOSCOW— Harman Professional named Sergey Trotskiy director of business development for the Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. Trotskiy will serve as a liaison between Harman Professional and its distributors and customers in the region.

TORONTO — Adamson Systems Engineering added Ryan Grant to the international sales team at the company’s head office here.  Grant, who has more than 10 years of experience in tour management, production management, and at both the FOH and monitors positions, has worked with acts including Hawksley Workman, Great Big Sea, Our Lady Peace, and Sloan, as well as rental companies Sound Plus Show Systems and Towers Productions (now part of Clair Global).

RISSKOV, Denmark — TC Group International, which is unifying the business and operations of its audio brands by market segments, named Kevin Alexander, CEO of subsidiary TC-Helicon, as Vice President of Business Management MI & HD. The company also named Payman Abdali TCGI Sales Manager Middle East HD.

REGENSDORF, Switzerland — Harman has named Roger Heiniger product manager, Studer. Heiniger will oversee product development of Studer mixing systems and contribute to the company’s brand development programs.

REGENSDORF, Switzerland — Harman named Ingo Hahn product manager for Studer. In his new position, Hahn will be responsible for the planning and development of new Studer products and enhancements to the existing Studer product line, while also providing support to Studer’s customer base.

TEMPE, AZ – Precise Corporate Staging promoted Dan Arends from director of operations to national director of sales, a new position. The company also added musician and band founder Dash Cooper as digital media marketing manager.

BOTHELL, WA — Music Group named Paul Wright vice president of global sales. Wright will lead the company’s worldwide sales teams and manage strategy and revenue in all markets for the company’s brands and divisions, including Behringer, Bugera, Midas and Klark Teknik products. Prior to Music Group, Wright served as VP of sales and marketing EMEA for Numark’s brand portfolio. Prior to Numark, he worked for eight years as international sales director for Line 6. In his new role, Wright will be based at Music Group’s worldwide sales office in Luxembourg.

BARCELONA — Cadac Holdings Ltd. named Adagio.pro as its exclusive distributor of its analog and digital compact consoles in Spain and Portugal. Adagio.pro is the pro-audio distribution arm of Grupo Adagio, which also distributes MI products and maintains a chain of music and pro-audio retail locations.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Electro-Voice announced that Jim Long retired in December 2011 after over 45 years with the company. He handled a wide variety of roles during that time, most recently as a member of the product marketing management team. EV credited Long for his technical know-how and communication skills, including his role in the development of the company’s  “PA Bible” – which remains in use today.
