MADISON, WI – Full Compass Systems recently promoted Laurie Andres from marketing & public relations specialist to senior marketing coordinator.  Andres will continue to coordinate day-to-day operations of the Full Compass marketing department, oversee production schedules and contribute to the planning and development of marketing programs.

HERRIARD, U.K. — Audient has named Simon Horn to lead its new program of directly supplying its dealers in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Horn, a music technology instructor and musician himself, has extensive experience in serving the needs of educational facilities teaching audio mixing and recording.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — American Music and Sound announced the promotion of Michael Palmer to vice president of sales for Allen & Heath and Turbosound USA. Prior to his promotion, Palmer served as national sales manager for Allen & Heath and Turbosound.

OXNARD, CA — L-Acoustics named Laurent Vaissié general manager, L-Acoustics US. Vaissié, pictured left, reports to L-Acoustics CEO Christian Heil, pictured right. Based here, he will be responsible for managing L-Acoustics’ U.S. subsidiary and developing business in both the domestic touring and fixed installation markets.

LOSNING, Denmark — Matrix Group, which includes Moto Audio Sales, Nordic Sales, Nordic Staging Systems, Signal Audio and Scenetek, named Kenneth Bremer as its CEO. Bremer, who is moving from Italy back to his native Denmark, had worked with RCF since 2009.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Group One Ltd. named Ryan Shelton sales and support associate. Based in Nashville, Shelton will provide national sales support for Group One’s rep force, dealers and end-users. He will also handle product demos and educational classes for DiGiCo, XTA and MC2.

WHITINSVILLE, MA — EAW named pro audio veteran Alex Schloesser as its Asia-Pacific sales director. In making the announcement, Jeff Rocha, EAW president, underscored EAW’s commitment to growth in the Asia-Pacific region. In his new capacity, Schloesser will report to, and work closely with, Davwinder Sheena, LOUD Technologies’ Asia & Pacific-Rim managing director.

PUTNAM, CT – Rational Acoustics LLC named freelance audio engineer Chris Tsanjoures applications support specialist.  In his new position, Tsanjoures will oversee all application support functions at Rational including the creation and dissemination of customer support materials regarding application and the use of Rational Acoustics’ products.

POTTERS BAR, U.K. — Harman Professional named Gert Sanner tour sound market manager, EMEA, a new position. Based out of Harman’s R&D, manufacturing and training facility here, Sanner, a tour sound veteran and FOH engineer, will provide customers with certified JBL VTX and Crown VRack training and support. He will also lead Soundcraft’s “Mixing With Professionals” training program.
