NORTHRIDGE, CA – Harman Professional has appointed Mark Gander to the position of director of JBL technology. In this newly created role, Gander will be responsible for driving the growth of the Harman intellectual property portfolio and supporting Harman’s technology leadership in the professional loudspeaker market. Gander joined JBL in 1976 as a transducer engineer and has subsequently held key product engineering and marketing positions within JBL Professional and the Loudspeaker Strategic Business Unit. He has held various executive and engineering positions of increasing seniority and responsibility over the course of his distinguished career, and is responsible for the design and development of some of JBL’s most significant loudspeaker technologies and products.

NORTHRIDGE, CA – Harman Professional named Vince Grieb Senior Director, Operations for its Loudspeaker SBU. Grieb will report to Bryan Bradley, VP and GM of Harman Professional’s Loudspeaker SBU.

COSTA MESA, CA — QSC promoted Gina Bergmann, David Fuller and Ray van Straten. Bergmann, pictured here, is now senior director, Sales Operations and US Sales; Fuller is now senior director, International Sales and Technical Marketing; and van Straten is now senior director, Marketing Communications and Training & Education.

MARCOUSSIS, France — L-Acoustics named Emma Beer to the newly created position of communications manager. She will oversee L-Acoustics’ press and media-related activities, including a new social media strategy for 2013.
