Behringer Names Starin Exclusive U.S. Distributor, Nigel Beaumont to Oversee Pro Division

LUXEMBOURG — Behringer owner Music Group named Chesterton, IN-based Starin as their exclusive U.S. distributor. Starin had previously represented Behringer in selected territories while the rest of the country was served by Shoreview Distribution. Music Group also announced that, starting March 1, Nigel Beaumont will oversee all aspects of the company’s Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound brands worldwide.

Clear-Com Relocates U.K. Headquarters

CAMBRIDGE, UK ─ Clear-Com relocated its U.K. headquarters. The new office is at 2000 Beach Drive, Cambridge, just down the road from the company’s previous U.K. headquarters. The company said the new facility will enable Clear-Com to continue its expansion in the region, while expanding resources available to its staff members.

Nigel Beaumont Named Head of Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound

KIDDERMINSTER, U.K. —Music Group named Nigel Beaumont head of its new Professional Division. Beaumont, who will continue in the role that he has held since joining the Music Group in 2011, as senior vice president for operations, will now also oversee all aspects of the company’s Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound brands worldwide. The expansion of responsibilities takes effect March 1, 2013.

Loud Names Henri Cohen, Rohan Smith to New Posts

WOODINVILLE, WA – Loud Technologies Inc. named Henri Cohen, VP, Worldwide Sales for the Ampeg and Mackie brands.  Cohen previously served as director of sales, national accounts and Latin America. Cohen will report to Alex Nelson, Ampeg and Mackie President, and continue to be based out of the company’s headquarters here. Separately, Loud Technologies named Rohan Smith, former GM of Musiclink Australia, director of APAC sales for the Mackie and Ampeg brands.
