NORTHRIDGE, CA — Harman Professional promoted Chris Vice to Manager, Global E-Commerce, a new position. Vice, an 18-year Harman veteran, reports to Jay Woolley, director of marketing, Harman Signal Processing. He will be responsible for ensuring Harman’s e-commerce initiatives meet the needs of channel partners, customers and others.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Harman Professional named Timothy (TJ) Smith, a 13-year veteran, head of its Signal Processing Business Unit. Smith will oversee all aspects of the BSS Audio, dbx, and Lexicon Professional and DigiTech brands. He will be based in the company’s Sandy, Utah offices and report to John Fitzgerald, VP and GM of Harman’s Signal Processor/Amplifier Business Units.

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada — Lawo North America Corporation, based here, named Don Bird VP, business development and marketing and Damian Fink product support manager. Based out of San Francisco and Los Angeles respectively, Bird (pictured here) and Fink (pictured below) will jointly support Lawo’s marketing and distribution channels throughout North America, with particular focus on the West Coast.

POTTERS BAR, UK – Sean Karpowicz has joined Harman where he will serve as Product Manager for Soundcraft’s Si Series Mixing Consoles. Karpowicz comes to Soundcraft from VenueMagic, a show control software platform, where he was Marketing Director. Prior to this, Karpowicz served as Product Manager at Gemini, responsible for Pro Audio product design and management.

VERNON, CA — 3G Productions, Inc., which now has a larger facility in the Los Angeles area, also named Devon Murray (pictured here) director of business development and sales. Prior to 3G Productions, Murray served for eight years as senior production manager for Staples Center/AEG.

ELKHART, IN — Harman’s Crown Audio today announced that Craig Lambrecht has been appointed as Business Segment Manager, Commercial Audio and Portable PA. In this role Lambrecht will oversee Crown’s commercial audio and portable PA business, including product development, marketing and sales. He will report to Marc Kellom, Senior Director of Engineering and Marketing for Crown.

LUTON, U.K. – Cadac has increased the R&D team at its headquarters here to 25 people, with the recent addition of nine new employees hired from universities in the U.K. and abroad. The growing R&D ranks reflect the commitment of Soundking Group, Cadac’s parent company, to investments in new product design and engineering.

NEW YORK, NY — Masque Sound promoted Stephanie Hansen, who first joined the company in 2004, vice president. She will also continue to perform in her role of general manager, a title she has held since 2008. Her new position includes an expanded focus on the development and acquisition of new business.
