Owen Xing, 34, has held managing positions in the music and audio industries for more than a decade, which makes him a perfect match for TC Group China that operates out of Beijing in the MI, Install, Touring, Broadcast and Production markets.

SINGAPORE — Harman Professional announced the promotion of Thomas Marcher to lead all sales and support operations for its professional audio and lighting technologies in the Greater Asia region, based here. Marcher joined Crown Audio as sales director, Asia in 2008. Prior to Harman, Marcher held Asia regional positions with TC Electronic and Klotz Digital.  A native of Denmark, he began his career with TC Electronic in Denmark in 1996.

PITTSBURGH, PA – Rock N’ Road Audio in Atlanta GA provided Chad Singer, PM/FOH engineer for the band Kansas, with a DiGiCo SD10 for the band’s big gig at Benedum Center here on Aug. 17. Singer upgraded to the SD10 from the band’s SD8 to handle additional production inputs for the show. The control setup included the SD10 an Optocore fiber snake with a DiGiRack on a MADI snake.

JALISCO, Mexico – Elipsis Audio has chosen DX2 as its sales representative for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.  David Gerety and Dave Roberts of DX2 came to the attention of Elipsis Audio. Elipsis Audio makes loudspeakers, digital processors and amplifiers, integrating design and manufacturing under one roof.  The company anticipates launching a variety of new products in the near future.

LUTON, U.K. – Cadac Holdings Ltd. has appointed new German based distributor, The Audio Specialists UG, to distribute its console range exclusively in Germany and the Belgium/Netherlands/Luxembourg region. The newly formed distributor is an independent subsidiary of the Dutch TAS group and is headed up by leading professional audio sales manager Hans-Juergen Heitzer (a.k.a. Age-jay), formerly with Mega Audio, pictured here.

Selected by Asian sales agent, Global Market Management, One Systems has been importing and selling Allen & Heath products into Thailand on a non-exclusive basis since 2009, and is now in a position to manage all sales and promotions in Thailand.
