He will lead the global operations of Harman’s Soundcraft and Studer brands. Filling McKinney’s previous position of senior director and general manager of China Operations for Harman Professional will be Frank Xiao, who brings more than 15 years experience in the professional AV industry to his new role.

CHESTER, PA – Community Professional Loudspeakers named Steve Young director, North American Sales. Young comes to Community from Music Group, where he served as manager of Business Development for brands including Midas, Klark-Teknik and Eurocom, has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and management. Prior to Music Group, Young was vice president of sales and marketing at Mitek (Atlas Sound).

NÜRTINGEN, Germany – German loudspeaker manufacturer Fohhn Audio AG recently added Gauthier Dalle to the company’s international sales and distribution team. As head of international business development, Dalle is tasked with strengthening and developing Fohhn’s international relationships.

TIJUANA, Mexico – Penn-Elcom announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility here for its flightcases, speaker cabinets and 19-inch racking solutions. Penn Elcom Mexico will be led by MD Javier Haro, with Frank McCourt in charge of sales. The Tijuana facility is strategically located to serve the company’s Latin American and U.S. markets.
