MONTREAL — Kling & Freitag Americas Inc., a new distribution company based in Montreal, Canada, will take on exclusive distribution rights for premium German loudspeaker brand, Kling & Freitag, throughout Canada, the USA and Mexico beginning April 1, 2015. The company was founded by general manager Vaino Gennaro (formerly of Sennheiser Canada, where he ran Kling & Freitag distribution) and Susanne Seidel (formerly with Sennheiser and DPA) to provide marketing and operations support. A telecommunications engineer and an audio professional with more than 25 years’ experience in several fields in the audio industry, from live sound to loudspeaker design, La Roda has traveled the world providing audio training and seminars to professionals of the audio industry. One of his most popular works is about phase alignment between subwoofers and mid-high cabinets.

SCHAAN, Liechtenstein — Neutrik AG announced that current CEO Werner Bachmann will retire Dec. 31, 2015. The company also announced that Peter Boeglin, pictured here, will join Neutrik AG in Aug. 2015 and will take over for Bachmann as CEO on Jan. 1, 2016. Boeglin, a native of Switzerland, grew up in Liechtenstein. He has a degree as a Mechanical Engineer (ETH Zurich) and has held several director-level posts. He also maintains ties with the academic sector, teaching at the University of Rapperswil in Switzerland.
