WHITINSVILLE, MA – Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) has announced the retirement of Kenton Forsythe, EVP of strategic engineering. Forsythe, one of the original founders of EAW, has spent his career advancing loudspeaker technology and design. In 2011 he received a Parnelli Award for audio innovation as further testament to his contributions to the professional audio industry.

ANAHEIM – German sound reinforcement firm HK Audio is undertaking a complete global overhaul of its visual and brand identity with the introduction of its new marketing campaign: the Soundmakers. The Soundmakers campaign is the result of two years of work, preparation and planning by HK Audio’s marketing team in collaboration with a number of external agencies from across Europe. The campaign launched at Winter NAMM 2016.

Laura’s in depth experience will help to strategically align the company’s presence both as an online retailer as well as in the systems integration arena. Lawrence’s extensive marketing knowledge has spanned a number of industries over the past 19 years. Prior to joining CCI Solutions Lawrence ran her own full service marketing agency and worked for national retailer, Full Compass, as its Marketing Manager.

ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA – VUE Audiotechnik is pleased to announce that it has added Greg Kirkland to its Technical Sales team. Kirkland brings with him more than 30 years of experience in sound system design and engineering and will expand VUE’s technical support for larger design firms and projects.  As a founding partner of Thomas Gregor Associates, Kirkland designed and programmed audio systems and oversaw production of the company’s larger and more complex projects for clients including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Boeing, Universal Studios and Cedars Sinai.

NASHVILLE – P. Audio named One Systems Inc. as the distributor for its loudspeaker systems in the U.S. The new distribution arm of One Systems Inc. will be based out of One Systems’ Nashville headquarters. Pro audio veteran, Garry Templin (pictured here), a 30-year industry veteran, has been named the sales and brand manager for P. Audio in the U.S.
