WHITINSVILLE, MA – T.J. Smith was named president and general manager of Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW). Mark Graham, Loud Technologies CEO, made the announcement. Prior to joining EAW, Smith held a variety of senior roles with Harman, including four years as GM of Harman’s operation in Shenzhen, China and management of the signal processing brands based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Andover, MA – Fishman has hired musical industry veteran Keith Chapman to the newly created post of Product Strategist.  Formerly Senior Vice President of Research and Development for the Fender Musical instruments Corporation, Chapman will be responsible for product strategies at Fishman including enhancing new product development methodologies, new product conceptualization, advanced technology research, and assisting with artist relations.

GREENSBORO, NC – WorxAudioTechnologies a leading manufacturer of loudspeaker systems for the pro touring and install markets and a division of PreSonusAudio Electronics is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Frebowitz to the position of Commercial Technical Sales Representative. In his new position, Frebowitz will be responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding business relationships within the Live Sound and Installed Sound markets. Frebowitz’ position took effect February 1, 2016. He will be stationed in Philadelphia, PA.

CHARLOTTE, NC –  Neutrik USA promoted Tom Chudyk to Sales Director. Chudyk has worked for Neutrik for eight years, most recently as the company’s National Distribution Manager. He officially took on his new duties as Sales Director on Jan. 1, 2016, and is based at the company’s headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Along with overseeing sales at Neutrik USA, he will manage the company’s Regional Managers and Business Development Manager.

WESTFORD, MA – Riedel Communications recently hired broadcast-industry veteran Joe Commare as marketing and sales manager, North America. Commare will design and implement new marketing strategies geared specifically toward North American markets as well as provide sales and technical support when needed.

ESCONDIDO, CA — VUE Audiotechnik announced that Jim Sides is stepping down from his active role as executive vice president. Since VUE Audiotechnik’s launch in 2012, Sides has been actively building VUE’s global network through distribution, dealer and integrator relationships. He has worked to establish VUE around the world, notably with the formation of VUE Europa GmbH and VUE China, in addition to making key distribution appointments in Asia and Europe. Ken Berger, VUE CEO, joined others at the company in thanking Sides for his efforts on the company’s behalf.
