WOODINVILLE, WA – Loud Technologies Inc. has appointed Thom Stalcup as vice president of operations. He will be based at the Woodinville, WA headquarters. Stalcup comes to Loud with 30 years of experience in operations, engineering and program management, including deep expertise in new product introduction and supply chain management.


HANNOVER, GERMANY – Coda Audio, a designer and manufacturer of speaker systems, has appointed Luke Jenks as managing director of Coda Audio US. Jenks, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, is tasked with establishing a new Coda Audio headquarters in the US and building a team that can work with top level firms, designers and installers.

GLENDALE, CA––Brad Stephens has joined Martin Audio in the newly-created position of Southeast regional sales manager. Most recently, Stephens served as a Cisco Systems senior product manager.

PORTLAND, OR – To support the company’s rapid growth, Audinate has expanded into a new office building in Portland, OR and doubled the size of its global Innovation Center in Sydney. The office expansions will enable Audinate to staff up with an emphasis on software/hardware engineers in Australia and training/marketing in Oregon.

NASHVILLE –  Garry Templin, who joined One Systems Inc. earlier this year, has been named as director of sales, North America for all three of the company’s brands:  One Systems, On Point Audio and P.Audio. Templin brings to the company more than 30 years of professional audio experience in sales and marketing.

MILAN – Loud Technologies Inc. and MPI Electronic SRL (MPI) today announced a distribution agreement whereby MPI will handle distribution for the Mackie brand in Italy. All Mackie sales, marketing, customer service and warranties will be carried out by MPI from Oct. 11, 2016. The entire Mackie catalog will be available from MPI’s warehousing near Milan.

WARSAW – German manufacturer Coda Audio has appointed Warsaw-based audio company Tommex as its exclusive distributor in Poland. Tommex distributes top international brands throughout the country, and offers advanced technical support to system designers and installers.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Calrec appoints Farmingdale, NY-based Group One Limited as its US distribution partner effective immediately. The announcement comes from James Gordon, CEO of Audiotonix, parent company for the Allen & Heath, Calrec and DiGiCo brands. This move enables Calrec to expand its market breadth across the US and continue to maintain high levels of service as business increases with the expanded portfolio, including the newly launched Brio36 compact broadcast console and Remote production RP products.

BERKELEY, CA – Audio veteran Wolfgang Leute, most recently with beyerdynamic GmbH, has joined Meyer Sound as sales director for Germany. The company also announces more worldwide hirings and promotions: Chris Mead has been promoted to sales manager, Middle East, Africa and India; Sandeep Braganza has been appointed sales manager, India, reporting directly to Mead; and Brian Chow has been promoted to sales manager, Japan and South Korea.

LOS ANGELES – Empire Pro is now an authorized distributor of Mackie Professional Audio Systems in the US.

COSTA MESA, CA – QSC, LLC announced the acquisition of Ultra-Stereo Labs, Inc. (USL), effective Sept. 30, 2016.  The acquisition will allow QSC to offer an industry-leading portfolio of audio-visual processing and B-chain solutions under the QSC and USL brands for the motion picture exhibition industry.
