VANCOUVER – Gary Zywiecki has joined the Vancouver-based team of Radial Engineering as manager of engineering. Zywiecki brings more than 25 years of expertise in product development to his new role, and has previously worked with Philips Electronics, Sierra Wireless and Scientific Atlantic.

LONDON – Martin Audio has appointed Dan Orton as product group manager, reporting to James King, director of marketing. Orton brings extensive pro audio experience in live sound and installation markets, and has worked in engineering roles with both Turbosound and L-Acoustics.

MARCOUSSIS, France — L-Acoustics’ holding company, L-Group, has acquired Camco, based in Wenden, Germany. For more than 25 years, Camco has been developing amplified controller technology. A key supplier of L-Acoustics for more than 10 years now, Camco will keep its brand name and will become a sister company of L-Acoustics, woodworking manufacturer Simea and L-ISA, creator of immersive sound art solutions.

BRESCIA, ITALY – Outline s.r.l. have appointed Global Pro-Audio Management as their exclusive distributor for the Indian sub-continent. Owner Gaurav Malvai says he is phasing out the existing products in his own rental inventory and replacing them with Outline. “Their product range gives me the flexibility and modularity that the rental division needs and of course it will also provide many opportunities to showcase these amazing products,” he says.

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee-based Sven Pro has recently invested in and installed several systems from German manufacturer Kling & Freitag. Operations Manager Brady Garrison says the company will be increasing its K&F rental inventory and will continue to specify it in permanent installations to accommodate the increasing requests from customers.

VANCOUVER – Joseph Strovas joins the team at Radial Engineering in the new role of international sales manager for the brands Hafler, Dynaco, Jensen Transformers Inc. and Primacoustic.  He has more than 30 years of industry experience, including ownership of his own hi-fi retail store in Phoenix.

VANCOUVER – Kevin Knoll has joined Radial Engineering’s Vancouver-based engineering team as a senior design engineer. Knoll brings decades of technical, design and manufacturing experience to his new role. His many industry achievements include recognition for HDTV design excellence and consumer product energy management.

BERLIN –  Stage Tec has appointed long-term employee Dirk Berar as head of software and systems development. Berar began his career at Stage Tec in software development, where he worked on developing dynamic automation for Cantus and Cinetra, the company’s first mixing consoles. He was involved in developing Aurus, Auratus and Crescendo consoles.




WHITINSVILLE, MA – Bryan DiFabio has joined the Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) Applications Engineering Team, and will provide technical expertise to EAW’s customers worldwide. He recently owned and operated a recording studio. DiFabio’s background includes tech support.
