COSTA MESA, CA – In 2017, QSC President/CEO Joe Pham will serve his third year serving on the board of directors for InfoComm with his election as secretary-treasurer.

NEWFIELD, NJ – With a combined 50 years of experience serving the professional audio, video, lighting and backline rental markets, Ken Kepler and Ed Di Bona have formed KD Productions, a full service audio-visual production and rental company serving the Atlantic City/Philadelphia markets. Primarily focusing on corporate AV rentals and touring clients, the company is located in a 6,000 square foot warehouse/office space in Newfield, NJ. In the two years since the company “soft launched,” they have provided rentals for shows in Maine, New Orleans, Orlando, Dallas and San Diego in addition to the AC/Philly area.

VANCOUVER – Jon Lundgren has joined Radial Engineering Ltd.’s Vancouver-based team. Lundgren spent 17 years working in the semiconductor industry where he held senior roles in PMC-Sierra Inc.’s  digital implementation group. He holds a degree in electrical engineering.

WHITINSVILLE, MA – Jim Bobel joins Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) as North US sales engineer. Bobel began his career working for Guitar Center where he climbed the ranks to general manager. Shortly thereafter he spent time as a manufacturer’s rep and in manufacturing sales.

BERLIN – Andreas ‘Igl’ Schönwitz and Christian Fuchs have joined Stage Tec’s sales division as freelancers. Schönwitz is a musican/producer, studio owner, industry freelance author and workshop organizer. He has been selling the Stage Tec products since 2011. Fuchs has specialized in sound for classical open-air concerts for 10 years and has a broad range of tech experience in the live event, radio and TV industry. Both will be on hand at Tonmeistertagung, Nov. 17-20 in Cologne, Germany.

MIAMI – Thomas Westberry joined loudspeaker manufacturer DAS Audio Nov. 1 to take on a new role as installed sound manager. He most recently served as regional sales manager for Freed Sales International, where he worked as a manufacturer’s rep in the pro audio/AV installation market. He is based in the Miami office.

AMSTERDAM – Peak Audio is responding to the demand for SSL Live consoles by purchasing two Solid State Logic L500 Plus live consoles. In business for more than 25 years, Peak Audio will train several of their key engineers immediately, and will also  provide technical support directly to their customers.

HAMPSHIRE, UK – Harry Lewis, Jack Flower and Ryan Ellis are the newest members of Audient’s service and marketing teams. Lewis and Flower join Andy Allen’s marketing team, with a view to raising product and brand awareness. As the new technical support agent, Ellis is on hand to answer any pre- and post-sales questions.

BRESCIA, ITALY – Loudspeaker manufacturer Outline has created a new position for Vincent “Vinnie” Perreux as their worldwide technical support and application engineer. Perreux has close to 20 yearss of experience in worldwide touring in various roles. In the past three years he has collaborated with a worldwide corporate group as training, a trainer of trainers, field support and application engineer.

CENTENNIAL, CO – Vue Audiotechnik has appointed Anew Communications Technology as its sales rep for its entire product line for the Southwest U.S. Anew C.T., based in Centennial, CO, has grown since it started in 1999, initially covering only the Rocky Mountain area. This territory now covers California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico.
