In Memoriam: Randy Vaughan, 63

NORFOLK, VA – Randy Vaughan, 63, a charter NSCA member and president of AE Systems for 38 years, died Dec. 23 after a long illness. NBC’s “The Sing-Off” Finale Heard Via All-Shure Wireless

Blues Traveler Crew Uses DiGiCo SD8, RME MADIFace Card to Record Live Shows Nightly

NEW YORK – Blues Traveler has performed more than 2,000 live shows in front of more than three million people in the last 23 years. After experimenting with different ways to preserve live shows on disc for the band's fans, FOH engineer Adam Fortin, who's been with the band since 2006, is now using a DiGiCo SD8 equipped with an RME MADIFace 56-track interface to multitrack 34 channels straight to a MacBook Pro with an Express port.

NEW YORK – The Juilliard School is picky about the students they accept – there are only about 800 undergraduate and graduate students in the renowned center for dance, drama, and music studies.
