LAS VEGAS – The Parnelli Awards Board of Directors announced that Ed Wannebo, longtime production manager for Kenny Chesney, will receive the live event industry's highest honor, the Parnelli Lifetime Achievement Award, at the gala dinner and ceremony to be held Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 in Orlando during LDI.

QUEBEC – Alexandre Forgues, with the audio consulting firm 20k, was very familiar with Quebec's Salle Albert Rousseau, which has evolved from being primarily a venue for classical music to more of a contemporary multi-purpose performance space. CHARLOTTE, NC – Hard-hitting rock acts performed at the first ever Carolina Rebellion Festival on May 7 at the Metrolina Expo. Co-produced by Right Arm Entertainment and AEG, over 35,000 fans were drawn to the full day of rock on two side-by-side stages.

YORBA LINDA, CA – With the scarcity of land in southern California, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) met its need for a new high school by acquiring the satellite campus of the local community college, which included a 314-seat performing arts center known as The Forum.

DECATUR, GA – When Messenger Media Systems was called in to do the audio for the New Life Church, the primary challenge was providing a powerful system for a spacious sanctuary on a limited budget.

PHILADELPHIA – DBS Audio Systems designed and installed a multi-zoned system incorporating 45 Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeakers at Urban Outfitters headquarters in the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, where brick-and-steel structures blend 21th century casual with early 20th century industrial.

MONTREAL – Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, a 25,000-seat outdoor football stadium owned by McGill University, is home to the McGill Redmen of the Quebec University Football League and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. The stadium opened in 1919, and has seen a number of upgrades over the years, most recently with a new audio system featuring Harman JBL VerTec line arrays and AE Series loudspeakers. Solotech, a systems integrator with eight locations in Canada, the U.S. and China, handled the design and installation.
